Fall In Mass

Hey Everyone,

Haven't written for awhile. I sometimes think I am writing to myself. I guess that is not a bad thing in some respects. Thank you to the few of you who get that a blog is interactive and a way for me to keep in contact with my family and friends. I feel like sometimes I am on an Island playing a game like Survivor and that any contact with the outside world is a BIG deal. LOL

Anyway, back to Fall in New England:

I had an opportunity to go to New York City on the train with a few Friends. It was a blast.

This is Becky, Monika and Sionnie. We had lots of time on our hands on the train. It was great to be with other Photographers who get me as a photographer. LOL

We walked all around NY: Battery Park, Ground Zero and China Town. While at Ground Zero we went to the Church that sits right in front of it. I was there before and took a picture of a grave stone that appeared to have a ghost image on it. So of course I went back to see if she was still there. Well, I'll let you judge for yourself!

Do you see her? The picture I took a year ago and this one from this past weekend are the same. She must live in the grave stone. ???????????

We had Monday off for Columbus day and I drove around town taking pictures of the fall leaves. It is beautiful. I took more of the country side, but I don't like what they look like, so you get to see my close-ups. I do love me some macro shoots. LOL

Hope you all have a Great Weekend!

Love Gidget

P.S. Some school work (images) should follow soon!

Hey Gidget,
I've been to the same cemetary in NY and it's pretty awesome. I was there about 9 months after 911 and there was still ash all over the cemetary lawn. It was very emotional. I did not see this particular head stone, but that is amazing.
It's funny that you went to NY with Sionne, she was one of the girls I had contacted to roommate with. I guess all worked out well. I think she is from Kansas City isn't she? Tell her hello for me. Anyway, all sounds great, stay warm It's chilly here, so I can imagine that it's really cold up there.
Take care,
Debbie

Hey Girlie!
Looks like you are getting some fun photos up! YAY! Love the fall leave photos and the ones of your friends is cute too. So funny you feel like you are on an island - I am on an island, LOL - what is that about? Well, your schedule doesn't help too much with keeping in touch via phone, but it looks like peeps are at least responding a little more. So glad. Can't wait to see more photos! Love u K
